Just wanted to share my bittersweet story. Me and my wife are expecting our second child, so we want to buy a bigger house, close to my in-laws We found the perfect house, but it's pretty expensive.
Long story short, to have enough for the down payment I needed some extra money.
So I sold 25% of my portfolio. Some BTC, some Eth and a big chunk of an alt that I have been holding for a while, which I think will go up in the next year.
I know this is what we invest for. This is the reason. 6 months ago I wouldn't be able to afford the house. It still feels wrong looking at the portfolio value getting cut.
